World's First Intel ARC A380 Unboxing and Review | I wasn't expecting this Here, we will cover everything you need to know about its line of Arc graphics cards. From launch dates and pricing rumors, to latest designs and specifications leaks, heres what you need to know about Intels Arc series. We got the first glimpse of Intels Arc graphics card lineup at its March 2022 Intel Arc Mobile Launch. PC Gaming Hardware tested a handful of games with Intels Arc Alchemist A380 graphics card, which is the only available desktop Arc GPU to date, and found that it performed pretty well for a first-timer. Its first Intel Arc GPU is compact and does not need an external power connector (it draws power directly from your motherboards PCIe slot), which may be a benefit to gamers looking for a graphics card that is not overly power-hungry -- particularly in the face of Nvidias monster power requirements for its forthcoming RTX 4000 line. Its first Intel Arc GPU is only currently available in pre-built PCs, appearing on a reasonably priced MSI gaming desktop at Chinese online retailer Tmall. If we put the leaks and the noises around the Internet aside for a minute, and look at Intels Arc site, we now see that the Intel Arc A380 is the only graphics card mentioned. Intels Arc A580 is said to be competing against Nvidias RTX 3050, and while specifications are not confirmed, an article by WCCCFTech suggests the A580 will feature 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a TDP of 175W upon launch. Intel is expected to launch Arc A7 graphics in September, the high-end graphics line expected to take on other competitors, NVIDIA and AMD. Intel is hoping to finally become competitive in the GPU market with their Intel Xe line. If its first Arc notebook GPU gives us a hint at what we could be looking at in an eventual desktop release, then perhaps Intel is going to spark off another GPU arms race. Intel has finally launched its first laptop Arc GPUs to market, and later in 2022, it will introduce desktop-ready Arc graphics cards - like the 2022-ready Arc A380 in the US. While the desktop cards were originally supposed to start arriving in summer of 2022, Intels launch of Arc desktop graphics processors has been delayed slightly, and at this point, you should not expect to see standalone Arc GPUs for desktops until fall of 2022. Now... according to Igor at Igors Lab, Intels Arc Desktop GPUs are going to be having a staggered release, reporting that Intel has now decided on a tighter timeframe a tighter timeframe internally, and that if Intel sticks with this timeframe, we should expect to see Intels Arc Desktop GPUs launch sometime between Aug. 5, and Sept. 29. We are guessing delays, as Intel has removed any reference to Q1 2022 launch dates from its site. Stranger yet, Intel has removed all reference to Q1 2022 on its official product pages, and the Alchemist GPU is now expected to ship more broadly in 2022. During The Game Awards 2021, Intel reiterated that we can expect Arc Alchemist GPUs to ship somewhere during Q1 2022, something previously hinted to back in August, when Team Blue GPUs were first revealed. There are still a lot of questions left, but we are cautiously hoping the end result is better than the earlier attempts, after Intel revealed more details about their Arc Alchemist GPU architecture during Intel Architecture Day 2021. The basic specifications of the Intel Arc Alchemist GPU are shaping up well, with the use of the TSMC N6 and a 400mm2 die potentially featuring a 256-bit memory interface all suggesting a card that should compete well against current top-tier GPUs from AMD and Nvidia -- but fall short of top-end models. Ideally, we see an Intel Arc Alchemist at least matching (or coming close to) the RTX 3080 and RX 6800 levels of performance, at prices lower than the AMD and Nvidia cards, and then putting lots of cards on retail shelves. #intelarcgpua380 #intelarcgpu #arcgpu #intelarcgpureleasedate #intelarcgpuspecs #intelarcalchemistgpu #intelgpu #intelarc #intelgraphicscard #intelgpuarc #arcalchemistgpu #intelarcgpuprice #intelarca380 #arca380 #a380 #intelarkgpu #intelarca380price #arca380price #intelarca380releasedate #a380arc #arca380benchmark #arca380intel www.youtube.com/c/ShinyTechThings This video was created on https://www.vudini.ai ➡️Subscribe To My Channel and See More Shiny Tech Things https://www.youtube.com/c/ShinyTechThings?sub_confirmation=1 💵 Direct Donation: https://paypal.me/ShinyTechThings Follow me on Instagram: ➡️ https://www.instagram.com/shinytechthings/ Follow me on Twitter: ➡️ https://twitter.com/Shiny_Tech Follow me on Reddit: ➡️ https://www.reddit.com/r/ShinyTechThings If you would like to help support my channel then please consider using a affiliate link when purchasing any items or becoming a patreon: ➡️ https://www.patreon.com/ShinyTechThings ➡️WindScribe VPN https://windscribe.com/?affid=6njmsc2q
